When the person you married feels like a stranger

When the person you married begins to feel like a stranger, the pain can be difficult to explain, even to close friends or family. It rarely happens overnight — more often it is a slow accumulation of unresolved arguments, silence, and small disappointments.

A private consultation gives you room to lay it all out in order, and to separate what is urgent from what has quietly been building for years.

Based in Malindi, Kenya — remote consultations for Uganda

This service is based in Malindi, Kenya, and serves clients throughout Uganda remotely — by WhatsApp and phone, not from a local branch or office. We say this directly, because we would rather earn your trust honestly than imply a presence we do not have.

Distance does not reduce the privacy or seriousness of the consultation. Many clients say it is easier to speak candidly with someone outside their own community.

Matters commonly discussed

  • Communication difficulties and arguments that never conclude
  • Separation, or a spouse who has left the home
  • Ongoing conflict inside the household
  • Trust concerns, including suspicion and worries about infidelity
  • Family and clan pressure over the marriage
  • Emotional distance and loss of closeness
  • Disagreement over money, property or responsibilities

Trust concerns

Suspicion is heavy to carry, and many people say they cannot discuss it with anyone at all. In a consultation you can describe what you have observed and what you fear, without judgement and without it being repeated.

Guidance here focuses on your position, your wellbeing and the choices available to you — not on making accusations against another person.

Family pressure and separation

In many households, a marriage difficulty quickly becomes a family matter, with relatives on both sides taking positions. That can make it harder, not easier, to think clearly.

A private consultation is deliberately outside that circle. Nothing is reported back to anyone, and you are free to discuss the family pressure itself as part of the problem.

What guidance can and cannot do

Guidance can help you understand your circumstances, consider your options and take considered steps. It cannot force another adult to change, and no promise is made that a marriage will be restored to a particular state.

Where the relationship has already ended, our lost love and reconciliation guidance page addresses that situation more directly. Where the matter is a relationship rather than a marriage, see our love spell casting and love guidance page.

Starting the conversation

Frequently asked questions

Can I discuss marriage problems privately?
Yes. Marriage consultations are confidential, and you can speak without involving your spouse, in-laws or the wider family.
Can my spouse and I consult together?
Most people begin alone. If both partners later wish to take part in the conversation, that can be arranged.
Is this service based in Uganda?
No. We are based in Malindi, Kenya, and consultations for clients throughout Uganda, including Kampala, Wakiso and Jinja, are held entirely remotely by WhatsApp or phone.
Will you tell me to leave or to stay in my marriage?
No. That decision is yours. The consultation helps you understand your situation and think through the options calmly, without pressure.
What if there is danger in my home?
If there is violence or immediate danger, please contact the police or a qualified professional first. A spiritual consultation is not a substitute for emergency help.

Begin privately

Discuss Your Marriage Privately

If something is happening in your love life, your marriage or your personal life that you have been struggling to understand, you can begin with a private conversation. You do not need to know which service you need before writing.
